Friday 11th October was GOAL Jersey Day. We like to celebrate this day each year in our school. The children wear a jersey to school and can make a donation to the charity GOAL.

GOAL is a charity that responds to humanitarian emergencies around the world. In the last few years, GOAL has helped people in countries like Turkey, Sudan, Gaza and Syria.

3rd to 6th Class are taking part in Peace Proms this year.

The school year has officially kicked off!! 🎉 We hope you all had a fantastic summer and ready for the new year ahead.

This year, we decided to set up an After School Club for Junior and Senior Infants from 1.40 -2.40 daily. The children have been having lots of fun playing, doing Arts and Crafts and baking with Amy.

5th and 6th Class took part in a Short Story Competition in October. Well done to these two pupils who won prizes at an Award Ceremony in Carlow County Council last night.

We have been collecting shoeboxes for the Christmas Shoebox Appeal over the last few weeks. Over 30 shoeboxes were collected this year from families throughout the school. Thank you to everyone who donated! 😊
Today, 5th and 6th Class brought the shoeboxes down to TullowPharmacy.

Today, we had a Halloween Fun Day and the children all dressed up in their favourite costumes for the day.

The children on the Creative School’s Committee from 5th and 6th Class, taught the children in each classroom how to create a Halloween picture.
