Rev Máirt Hanley came to visit us this week. He spoke to us about Easter and we all got a cross made out of palm leaves. We sung our hymn for the month ‘Lord I Lift your Name on High’.

Saying Goodbye

Friday 8th November 2024

Today, 5th and 6th Class presented Canon Brian with a gift from our school, to mark his retirement from the parish.

We thank you Canon Brian for supporting our school over the last few years. You have been a member of our Board of Management, presented certificates and awards in our assemblies, preached at our Carol Services and invited us to the church for various services and visits. Fifth and Sixth Class were lucky to have a visit each Friday morning, where you told stories and shared words of wisdom during difficult times.

Best of luck to Canon Brian in his retirement!!
From all the pupils and staff of St. Columba’s N.S..
