St. Patrick’s Day Art

We used paint to create leprechauns for St. Patrick’s Day.

Volcanoes

In February, 3rd and 4th class learned all about volcanoes. In art, they used Papier Mache to construct their own volcanoes.

Tuesday 21st February 2023

Today we were very excited to go to Supermacs to make pizzas. Charlotte won a colouring competition and this was the very exciting prize for the whole class. Thank you to Richard for running the competition and inviting our class over.

The children have enjoyed painting and drawing in Art this month. They also learned about The Roman Empire in History. The children have loved learning long multiplication and division in Maths. The children have loved doing Science Experiments about how substances react with one another. by Nico and Wojtek 6th Class

Pumpkin Carving 🎃

We were learning about halloween traditions in history and decided that we would have a go at carving our own pumpkins. The children scooped out the inside of their pumpkin, in groups, and designed the pumpkin faces by drawing onto them.

Halloween Art

We used chalk pastels to create pumpkins and paint to create cat silhouettes.

Making Instruments

In September the children made their own instruments using household materials. They came up with very creative ideas! They used their instruments to compose a piece of music in class.

Mount Everest Projects

In September, 3rd and 4th worked in groups to create projects on Mount Everest. They researched information and presented their findings on a poster.
