It was very wet today so we had our wet break in the hall. We go to the hall to play games when it is too wet to go outside. It was wonderful to see all of the children engaged in purposeful play today. A lot of children have become very interested in strategy games such chess and draughts. It is great to see the older children pass on their skills in these games to the younger children. Some of our children are learning clapping rhythms and have begun to integrate cups into these rhythms.
If you have any old games which you plan to dispose of, please consider donating them to the school. We will give them a new lease of life during our wet breaks.
Here are some photos of our wet break for you to look at.
