The children are participating in European Week of Sport this year. As part of the event, the children are completing the Tour of Europe Challenge. Each of the classrooms have chosen a country to run over the course of the week. One lap of the school represents 1km.
The Junior Room are running to the Freedom Monument, which is 1954 km.
The Middle Room are running to the Brandburg Gate, which is 1315 km.
The Senior Room are running to the Eiffel Tower, which is 778 km.
The children are enjoying taking part in daily exercise. The teachers have noticed a change in their concentration, when they return to class.
The Senior Room are doing a Sports League this week as another way of celebrating European Week of Sport.
Unfortunately, it was too wet on Monday to go outside and play sport. However, we made up for it! On Tuesday and Wednesday, the children played soccer and basketball for 40 minutes each day. On Thursday and Friday, the children played bench ball and tag rugby.
