Congratulations to one of our Sixth Class pupils who recently won two medals in the Under 14 County Cross Country Event in Ballon recently. She was placed second in the individual event and first in the team event. She also won two gold medals in the Under 13 County Cross Country Event in Tinryland. We are very proud of her. Well done.
The pupils from Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Classes attended the Volopa Irish Challenge Golf Tour Event in Mount Wolseley Hotel, Tullow. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed participating in a golf lesson. Many thanks to CGI Ireland for organising our golf lesson and thank you to Matthew Southgate and Ruaidhrí McGee for sharing their golfing experience with the pupils. It was an enjoyable afternoon. Take a look at us in action.
The children of St. Columba’s N.S. are demonstrating their mathematical and engineering prowess at lunchtime through their innovative use of our new giant Jenga bricks. Most recently, we have been treated to castles in our yard and racing hurdles of increasing height and complexity. The constructions are very impressive!
