The pupils in Infant classes and 1st – 3rd classes have been kindly invited by Bertram and Celine Salter to visit their Poultry Farm in Fenagh.
Miss Bryan’s class will go on Monday 12th May by bus from the school and the Infant classes will go by bus on Tuesday 13th May. The cost of the buses will be covered by the ‘extra’ Hot Dog Day on Friday 2nd May. Children should bring wellies/outdoor boots and a coat for the outing and an extra portion of lunch on the day.

Fresh milk, 189ml Carton/Straw will be available in school through the Department of Agriculture & Food School Milk Scheme this term.
The cost will be €8.00 for Plain Milk – 8 weeks – 28th April – 20th June 2014.

On Friday, 11th of April we had an enjoyable morning filled with lots of Easter activities. The pupils worked in teams on a variety of activities based on the theme of Easter. Some of the activities included an Easter egg hunt, a treasure hunt and orienteering activities to work out messages relating to the Easter story. An educational and fun day was had by all.
Thank you to Archdeacon Orr who organised a lovely Holy Week service for us. We learned a lot about Holy Week and what to expect in church during Holy Week and Easter.
Our readers read very well. Archdeacon Orr wished us a lovely holiday over Easter.
There are lots of services in Tullow Group of Parishes during the holidays including a Palm Sunday service with procession led by a donkey on Sunday 13th April in Aghold Church at 11am, an Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Vigil Service from 7.15pm on Saturday 19th April at Mullinacuffe Church and Easter Day services at 8.30am in Shillelagh, 10am in Aghold and 11.30am in Tullow.
